It's official, I've been published

Okay, so this is gonna be a LOONG update. Just warning ya! ;-)
These past few days have been such a blast! It's the last weekend before school starts, though, and that kinda depresses me. :( But I don't wanna think about that now. I wanna talk about the good stuff!

Yesterday, I went into NYC with my family, which is always fun because I love New York. So we did some shopping in Greenwich Village. I picked up a couple of cute tops and some necklaces from Urban Outfitters. Ooo, and I got an Iced Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks, which I must say is one of THE most delcious things I've ever tasted! lol I'm like addicted to them now! haha My favorite part of the trip however, was when we stopped into the Hard Rock Cafe. Downstairs, on the lower level, they have all this rock & roll memorabilia and stuff which was really cool. So we're walking around, looking at everything right? When all of a sudden...omg! I see a picture of Adam Levine! So of course, I spazz and I'm like "Ohmygah it's Adam!" haha It was really awesome. They had one of his old guitars and it was signed and displayed in this little glass case. So of course, I had to pose with it!

^Somehow I managed to control myself and not molest the guitar like I wanted to.

Finally, the last bit of this entry is my article. Well, I explained in the previous post that I was getting published in the Philadelphia Inquirer today. Sure enough, it was in the paper today! Honestly, I thought the writing was crap. I mean, I've written much better things than this. However, it was for an essay contest and there was a 250 word limit, and it had to be about the topic "making positive choices". So naturally, it sounds really corny and stupid. :P Anyway, you can go to the cut to see the scan. :)




^ Eww, I look horrible here. My face looks so fat and puffy. :/ Just ignore me, and look at my cool flower lamp behind me.

I love the Hard Rock Cafe! That place is so cool. I've been to the one in Myrtle Beach before and they have guitars everywhere. It's amazinggg.

And that is so awesome you got in the newspaper!! :) That's such a cute picture of you, so hush. And I love your little essay thing. It's all very good advice.
